There's always something exciting going on at Big Hands Little Hands Childcare Ltd..
Take a look at some of the fun activities we have been getting up to during the holidays. From Minibeast Hunts at Allensford to cooking homemade curry for China Day to creating Aboriginal- inspired boomerangs, we really have had a fun filled programme!
Over the Christmas Holidays, we had lots of fun making decorations for our Club Tree, such as wooden ornaments and Paper Chains. We then put on our Christmas songs and decorated the Club!
October half term saw us Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Spooky Bats, as well as a fantastic outing to Gibside for a minibeast hunt!
The summer holidays give us lots of time for outings such as Gibside, South Sheilds, Hall Hill Farm or the Cinema. We're also spoiled for choice while staying at Holiday Club with use of the Hall, Playground, Wood and Mugger. Some of our favourite things to do in summer are Rounders, Mini Beast Hunts and water fights(complete with padding pools!)
May half term is always fun becasue the weather often means we get lots of time both indoors and outdoors. If its fair, we love a trip to Allensford Park and during the wetter days, we occasionally all fancy an afternoon film (which wouldnt be complete with out floor cushions, bean bags and popcorn!)
Over Easter we had lots of fun activities including Easter Bonnet Making, Egg Decorating Competitions and Baking Hot Cross Buns!
