Welcome to Big Hands Little Hands Nursery School!

Big Hands Little Hands Nursery School is situated in Leadgate, Consett. 

We offer high quality childcare to children from birth to 4 years all year round with the exception of bank holidays and Christmas.

Our nursery is divided into 3 base rooms, we have Dreamers for the 0-2's, Adventurers for the 2-3's and inventors for the 3-4's. 

The Nursery has many areas of learning and our highly qualified, dedicated team plan, prepare and implement a wide range of learning activities and experiences based around individual interests. Children are also encouraged to choose their own play resources alongside accessing adult lead activities.

Although we have recently opened we are already embedding a culture of working woth our community. We already work with Glenroyd House and we are in the process of expolring options for Forest School and a local animal actury for the children to visit.

We are the only local nursery setting to follow the Hygge accreditation!
